Win 8 and multi monitors

I've read that Win 8 plays better with multi monitors but can't find details about this. Can someone explain how it's better than 7 in this area? Thanks.
 
Thanks. Great info. I use 3 monitors now with an ATI card. Will Win 8 take the place of using the Catalyst drivers or would you somehow use both?
 
No... you still use your GPU specific drivers. I frequently jump into the NVIDIA control panel to enable 3-screen gaming.

The MSDN article is a good representation of the "what's nice" about the new features. I have no issues on 3 monitors.
