Does anyone know if win 8.1 will support trim for emmc drives? I had samsung ativ 500t with emmc drive and you could not manually trim(drive optimization) with win 8.
With most device with emmc drive, the performance suffers over time due to drive getting dirty. At least android now has trim function for emmc drives in 4.3 so the drives are trimmed automatically. Before my phones and tablets would start getting slow over time but my new and old nexus 7 do not have this problem with 4.3.
I am thinking about getting asus 100t but if this feature is not supported then I will probably pass. The EMMC drives already slow when running win8.
