Win 7 Upgrade Now or wait?

HI
I bought a refurbished Dell Laptop and refurbished Dell desktop pc. As part of the purchase Dell sent me a upgrade copy of Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit for each pc.
Both pc’s have Vista 64 bit installed on them.

Before I update to Win 7, has anyone had problems upgrading to Win 7?
I have very little software on the pc’s and my printer is connected via my network. I might have to update the printer driver.

Has anyone had problems with updating drivers, etc?

I would appreciate any and all thoughts.

Thanks

You shouldn't have any major issues... i'd recommend upgrading before you start using it, that will be much easier for sure.

I recommend doing a clean install. You'll see some sort of performance increase. But check your peripherals to make sure that they are compatible.

Go Win7 there really isn't a much noticeable difference between Vista and 7 for the average user. But the UI alone is worth the 15 mins to install it.

HI
Thanks for the help!!!
Gonna be busy here the next week or so and I will wait till after Christmas to do the upgrade. All I have installed on the laptop and desktop is the printer and some accounting software. I will look for win 7 drivers for the printer and make sure the software works with win 7. Once I have everything I will do the upgrade. tis better for me to be prepared because in the past the Grinch jumped into the pc and killed it while doing upgrades!! LOLOL
Thanks

what he says! I upgraded multiple times and ended up with really ODD issues on my PCs which are not evident at first...did a Win7 clean install and issues are gone.
