I remember there being a specific situation where win7 does not trim.
IIRC it goes something like:
1. Delete a file - trim sent
2. Format a "drive" - trim sent
3. Delete a partition - not trim
I am not sure if this is correct though and seeking clarification (aka, link to a source) on which situation exactly TRIMs. Also I wish to know about the windows 7 installer. Would creating then deleting a partition in Win7 installer TRIM that entire area of the drive? what about doing a "format"?
Also, wikipedia had a claim that Vista SP2 supports TRIM, however the source for that claim did NOT say that, it only said Win7 does. Anyone has a source that does support that claim?
