Win 7 MSDN License with Volume License DVD

I think I'm screwed, but I loaded Windoes 7 Enterprise with the volume license DVD and it will not recognize the MSDN license code when I enter it for activation.

I get the message that the code is not valid for this version of Windows 7 and wants the Enterprise code.

Am I hosed?

Win7 Enterprise is only VL. You have to request and use the MAK key that is redeemable with your MSDN account for it, or you have to connect it to your KMS server.

A MAK gets activated online just like any other key, but it can be used multiple times. You should be able to view how many activations are left through MSDN.
