Win 7 login troubles

So I've had the temporary login profile problem ever since I installed Windows 7. I never thought much of it because I would simply log out when the problem happened and then log back in and everything would be alright. Lo and behold of all the days for this problem to persist permanently would be today.

So I read up on how to fix this problem (i.e. backing up my old profile, creating a new one). I was not ready to go through the headache of moving 8GB of files and read that my other alternative was an earlier restore (which was not but four days ago when the last significant update I made was downloaded a Java update). So the restore went through, the computer restarted, and now every time when I log into my profile Windows blinks a BSOD for half a second and then immediately restarts.

I created a second user account in Safe Mode with admin settings. Again, when I try to log into it under normal circumstances the same thing happens: BSOD. I am really starting to hate Windows now. Any suggestions? Or am I looking at a full system restore?

I usually have this prob on new installs
IF your BSD quickly says windows has shut down to avoid damage to your system that means HW. In one of my cases, it was RAM voltage a tad low. Another time it was PSU not compatible - +5V shure boot was not fast enough.
(I never use fast boot setting in bios to avoid this)
You seem to be warm booting to login which adds a bit of confirmation
You can look in event viewer various categories and see exactly what was the cause - look for the red errors, like kernal, or some driver
I am always amazed at how few people even have event viewer come to mind after BSOD.

Event Viewer - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40108.html

Integrity of the OS' software.

SFC Scan Now

First, scan your computer for Viruses and Malwares.

If it is clean, or you found some "junk" and it not working after the cleaning....

Open an elevated command prompt, type in sfc /scannow and press Enter.

It should scan the system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

More Information about SFC scan can be found in this document: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

***Note, if this process shows too much mistakes and cannot correct them, you will have to reinstall Windows 7.
