Installed on my 2005 Dell I-9300 (in siggy), added a 250GB WD Scorpio Blue PATA to replace the old 80GB.
Works great for everything except games, they do major Stutters or even lock up. Have tried Vid, Sound, Network drivers, Compatibility and Admin modes all to no avail. Same games worked great on the XP Pro SP3, must be something simple but I can't figure it out.....
Surfing, Office, Video works fine....but have tried several games and same result. Hmmm
Any idea's?
(same games work fine on the really old desktop in my Sig that has Win 7 RC installed)
Will be building a quad-core something in the new year (just picked up the Antec 900 after Bing, Rebate and Newegg discounts) but I need this lappy to do the games I like to play in my kick back chair while watching the big screen!
