win 7 fresh build USB stick

I just built my first PC and everything seems to be functioning correctly. Whenever I attempt to install windows it says I am missing CD/DVD drivers. Previously I didn't install one but then later put in one fun my older PCs I had laying about for parts. Still no luck. I ran the storage in all 3 modes as well as updating bios. I was told uefi don't get along well with 7 and it should be put in legacy mode. I have no idea how to do that . The d drive works perfectly as far as I can tell. And I don't have another cmputer with DVD burning abilities.

Sorry if this comes out as gibberish this phone has frustrating autocorrect.

this can be deleted I solved my own problem. It was a strange quirk where you had to move the usb to another port in order for the drivers be detected.
