Win 7 64bit for Sys Buildr

Installing a new Sata hard drive, and Win7 won't begin install, hangs up at Boot to cd/dvd after it selects it and cursor line drops below the sentence.

I have already
1. gotten most recent BIOS
2. selected "Boot to cd/dvd" in Boot Order in Bios
3. confirmed on the old HD that cd/dvd is communicating
4. downloaded all relevant 64 bit drivers for installation
5. emailed Gigabyte for help or suggestions
6. previously ran Win7 upgrade advisor and all hardware was fine to convert to Win 7.

Anyone think of something I'm overlooking? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Try going into the BIOS and set the HDD to AHCI .. then install. After the install is done, you can go back into BIOS to change it back to SATA
