WIN 2K wont work on my comp, wtf?

Win 2k is being a hoe, it wont install on my comp. I have an Asus K7V w/ 550Mhz Althon
I get like thru the install, then when i goto restart and it updates its files etc, it freezes and gives me some error msg. I worked fine on my pals K6 333MHz. Why not for my new athlon? btw 128Mb RAM

try taking out your sound card, NIC, modem, and whatever else you have in there...just leave in the essentials (video, hard drive, cd-rom, etc). Try installing win2k now and see if it freezes
 
What is the error message? If it IS giving you an error message, then it really isn't "freezing", it's crashing. Give us some more details, such as what kind of hardware you've got, etc.
