Win 2K with Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4

i've been running adaptec easy cd creator 4 in win 98 and using my plextor 16x10x40 it works pretty well, but now i've done a clean install of win2k and the program doesnt recognize my cd writer. the drive and its drivers are shown to work properly in the device manager.
any thoughts or ideas? please help i cant live without my cd writer!

Install SP2 and then update your software with patches to 403b for W2K.

i already have SP2 and the adaptec software that came with my plextor has easy cd creator 4.03, where do i get the new update to 4.03b ? i couldnt find it on the adaptec webstie..

Its not on Adaptec site, you have to go to Roxio.com and download latest version which is 4.05.
