Win 2k "Update and Support" service

What is this service used in Win2k for? It keeps getting "terminated unexpectedly" and in turn crashes IIS. Is there a way i can fix this?

When i turn it off manually, IIS runs, now the server can't connect out (i.e. surf the web) and I can't connect into it (i.e. VNC)

Help?

I guess no one knows this situation either? =(

An event 7031 keeps popping up in my Event Viewer. Maybe that helps?

The place I always to to find out about Windows 2000 Services is www.blackviper.com. Currently, it appears to be "under construction." I'd try later. It's really good. Has XP stuff too.

I do not believe this is a Microsoft service. It definitely does not exist on 2003 or XP.
