Win 2K Srvr _ Modem will not Auto Answer

I have a Win2K srvr with two external Sportster modems. There are two seperate phone lines to this server. One line answers and the other line never answers. :disgust: Both lines will allow outgoing calls. I have tried switching the lines, modems, serial cables and still the one number never answers. I have looked at the TAPI & RAS setups and both seem identical. I have also checked the device manager and both modem properties are identical except for the port. Can someone tell me what I am missing? 😱 It seems to me that it has to be a setup issue with the server since I have changed all the external items. Thanks
