I just put 2000 on one of my machines. My question is where is the system start-up configuration? I cannot find it under system info like in 98 or Me.
 
yup, win2k does not have that, i am use x-setup to remove my start up! get x-setup on tweakfiles.com
 
You can copy MSCONFIG from Windows 98 or Me, and run it in Win2K. It will give you some errors but it still works.
