Ok I was running win 98 but recently installed win2k professional.
I am still using win 98 with a dual boot setup, because i think win 2k is having some kind of Motherboard driver problem, read on and ill explain.
When i first got my geforce2 mx it was running very bad. (back when i was using 98) and after I stuffed around for about 4 days i tryed getting my lates motherboard drivers, AOpen ax63 PRO. and the drivers fixed the prob. my 3d mark scores had gone from 1000 to 4000 and games were running great.
Now my problem is now that I have installed win2k I am having the same problem as i did with 98 before I installed the drivers. But i have tryed installing the drivers while running win 2K and it dosent make any difference. If anyone knows why my vid card is loosing 50% performance in win2k pls help me out.

Geforce2 MX 32 meg
10.2 gig hdd.
