Win 2k Problim {edit}

well for some reason it just decided to work dont really know why. but it did push my CPU temp to like 52 C before it got there well it workes now anyway


Im having a problim runing "disk cleanup" in Win 2k Pro when i upen it it sits there and says "scanning compress old files" and dosent do anything else. just sits there and teh progress bar dosent move. it will just sitthere untill i cancel it. it shoots my CPU usage up to 100% and constantly raises my CPU temp. lasttime it started out at 45 C and was at 53 C when i decided to close the program. I thought this might have something to do with my overclock but i backed that off and it dosent change a thing. the strange thing is that my roomates computer does teh same thing. he is also runnin Win 2k Pro. wounderin if any of you fine people out there know of a fix for this.

Some times, that disk cleanup takes a while. I used to sit there for about 5 minutes with the progress bar on the same spot. If your hard drive is spinning, it should be working on the clean up. Just let it sit there for a couple of minutes and see if you can get anywhere. Hope this helps.
