Win 2k Pro Install question

I tried to install Win2k Pro for the first time today from a clean reformat but it said it couldn't do that.

Is this due to that whole DOS game thing?

If I can install off a format can you tell me how?
 
it said something about Speed drive (I think thats the program name) should be run before installation.

Whats the director and file name for that?
 
smartdrive.exe

or something like that?

You don't have to run it (I didn't)

Follow Rudee's advice, that's what I do when installing.
 
yea Rudee is the man that worked fine

I assume that smartdrive is in the \I388 directory?

whats it do?
