While logged in as an "administrator", I installed Fineprint software which works fine.
When logged in as a "power user" I receive an error stating the drivers are not loaded.

I assume I need to change permissions or something but can't seem to fine the right place.

Anyone know where to look?

 
I'm not familar with the software you descibe. However by the description of your problem it sounds as if it's poorly written software that doesn't install correctly in a multi-user environment.

Try this:
Change the Power User account to an Administrator account and see if it runs. If it doesn't install it again under that account. Then switch it back to Power User and see what happens. From what you describe I think I would try that before I worried about permissions.
