Win 2k multi-user question

Before I go through the trouble of setting this up, let me make sure I can do what I think.

If i have multiple user accounts on win 2k pro, will each of them have thier own personalized settings? Such as: IE favorites, Outlook mailboxes, accessibility options, available desktop icons.

I have never setup win 2k for multi-user, but need to be able to do this.

Thanks in advance!

Sparkle. If you haven't used WinNT Workstation then I guess you wouldn't know. But WinNT, and Win2k are designed for the office work environment. Meaning computers have mulitple users. Those different user's for Win98 are lame. They have a lot of errors. Any of my customers that have multi users for one computer will use some NT software.

The coold thing about NTFS is that you can offer rights to different files. So if you want one user not to be able to access anything but the My Documents folder...then that's all they will be able to access. Well I'm sure you get the picture. Play around with the user accounts...it's pretty neat what you can learn. And go to the Microsoft Knowledgebase. There is a lot of info that could help you setup your multi users. I know most people hate anything from MS...but they are only 90 percent evil. they still have 10 percent of goodness.

I currently use win 2k, and have for sometime now. i have just never had a reason to mess around with the multiuser capabilities untill now. thanks for the quick responses.
