is a pII 350 with 160 mb ram enough?

its gonna be used as a webserver (apache) and only gonna be used through (vnc), no monitor

Depending on how big your webpage is and if it is Dynamic or not. People on here use 166Mhz computers running a form of Unix as firewalls/routers with no lag of any sort.

ya i know i actually wanan run linux but i am having issues using the wifi card, i am still playing with that, hopefully once i figure that out i can chuck windoze
but i am using 98 in the mean time and it runs fine but it keeps crashing once ever few days ( i think thatz a bug )

I would think a minimum of 256 mb of ram would be desireable, to minimize, if not eliminate, given it's a low task computer, hard drive swapping.
Win2k loves ram 🙂
