Win 2K control panel looks weird.

I was just bombarded with the LoveLetter virus and lost alot of jpeg files due to corruption. Finally I have regained control of my PC, but for some reason, the Control Panel looks odd. All of the icons are in the bottom left corner, with a scroll bar. I don't know how to revert back so the icons take up the entire window. Any suggestions? Could this be a cause of the virus? All solutions will be appreciated. Thanks
 
RIGHT CLICK -> ARRANGE ICONS -> BY NAME ?

this doesnt sound like something the virus would do. if you had a virus, i would just make sure all your files are clean, format, and reinstall. its always better to play it safe. its not always convenient though.
 
No right click functionality changes the view. The icons seem to be in this subwindow in the bottom left corner of the original Control Panel window. There are scroll bars. I can email you a screenshot if needed. Thanks.
