I want to install win 2000 tonight.. I have a A7V.. I hear that ppl have been installing these on win 2K and getting bad things happening.. I tried 4 in 1 4.29 for 98 last night.. GARBAGE.. at least for my system, crazy blue screens.. so yeah, win 2k is going in tonight and I would like to know which drivers have been working for ppl. Oh, and if there are any other issues which I need know. I tried installing it b4, when I first got this system, and setup told me that it couldn't detect a hard drive. NT 4 said the same thing, so I took the hdd off of the ata 100 controller and put it on the 66, still, same thing.. I have flashed my bios since then, I hope that it works. What drivers should I have ready before attempting this install? thanks.

I've been using 4.25 for about 3 months and 4.28 since they came out with Windows 2000 and haven't had any problems whatsoever.

I'm using the 4.29's in windows 2000 and am having zero trouble, you might want to wait and install them after you update to service pack 1 though.

I'm running the 4.28's without problems. I'm gonna try the 4.29's next.
I DO have some problems involving "machine_exception" (I think) BSOD's. At least, I think they're BSODs. They occur occassionally whenever I'm doing something involving the hard drive. I got these errors when I was installing 3Dmark2k1 and it was converting textures. If I did anything such as opening folders or the start menu, I would get the error. It also happens if I load a saved game twice in Red Alert 2. These started AFTER I installed Logitech KeyCommander. I found out later that KC doesn't support Win2k properly. I just installed this OS about 2 weeks ago. I really don't want to reformat again. Any tips on fixing this problem?
