hi
I have just purchased an Abit KT7A Raid motherboard and am having some problems with win 2k and USB. I have a logitech USB mouse that works fine on its own but when i plug in my USB Iomega zip 250 the mouse freezes and the system runs real slow. Now and then it will start working but when i try and access the zip it comes up with an i/o error. any suggestions would be nice!! i have installed the USB drivers that come on the cd with the motherboard.
other compenents of my system are 256meg pc133 ram, geforce ddr, ibm 46.1gb hard drive, diamond scsi card and ibm 4.1gb scsi hard drive, firewire card, and creative soundblaster live value.

You might try to put your mouse into the USB port on your keyboard. I have heard of this before, don't know the solution though...:D

Sounds like you sharing an IRQ amongst too many devices. I'm having this problem too, and it equates to degraded performance. Manually assign IRQs.
