Win 2k and firmware

Installed an Aopen 1232a cdrw on a Win2000 machine and am trying to determine what firmware version the cdrw is using.
Win98SE would tell you in the device manager but can not seem to find the info in Win2000. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
If you open "My Computer" and right click on your CDRW drive, select properties, click on "Settings" tab you should find your firmware below.
 
Find it under HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE\ in the registry. It's the last few digits in the drive name.
