Win 2000Pro

I know what you're thinking and that's not the case with me **LOL**

Just built this new rig with Win2k and it keeps stopping at the logon screen asking for my password. I've never set a password in the past and always leave the Administrator name and the password would be left blank.
On my last 2-3 Win 2k system setups I just skipped this Logon screen in the past by pressing the Return key. After a few times of doing this, it would never come up again and would just log into Windows.

Not sure what I did in the past but on this Rig, when I startup the computer, it always stops at the logon screen and waits for me to press the return key before logging into Windows.
Is there an Admin setting somewhere after logging in, where you can disable the logon screen? There has to be because it's done it in the past for me on my last few rigs. I just cannot remember what I did or did not do **LOL**

If I remember correctly, there might be an option you can uncheck under Control Panel --> Users to disable having to login in W2K.

The other alternative is to use TweakUI to automatically login without prompting you.

That's it, thanks. I remember that screen now of course.
Under Control Panel/Users and Passwords

Just unchecked the box 🙂
