How do I get rid of the little white arrow on my shortcut icons? I remember seeing how to do this somewhere, but cannot remember.
 
Windows PowerToys/TweakUI can do that for you. It must be a Registry setting but I wouldn't know which. Search Microsoft's site for "PowerToy."
