Win 2000 Upgrade and USB problem

I just upgraded two systems to Win 2000 from 98se. Got everything up and running other than the USB ports. Will reinstalling the Via 4-in-1's solve this problem (system specs below)?

Also, I noticed that my PCI mass storage controller has a '!' on it, what is up with this?

Thanks!

Definately do the latest 4in1's. That might fix the problem all by itself, if not...

There is a known bug with w2k and via usb. The fix is available from a variety of places. I ran into the bug and found the fix when using a Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. Here's a link to the fix:

Agreed....the 4in1's should hopefully solve.....PCI Mass Storage controller is the IDE disk controller so again 4in1's.

edit: Just had a thought, I had a friends PC where I disabled USB2 thinking that his two onboard ports were USB1 in the bios but it turned out to be the other way around! USB2 was the built in ports and USB1 was for the header, Was a FIC AZ11E Motherboard.
