Win 2000 start up How do i take stuff out????
I know in Win 98 There is msconfig.
But what about 200. I installed my sounblaster live ware and i always have these damn web updates in my system tray how do i get them out

To disable the Web Update for Creative's Launcher, go to the LiveTask tab, click the drop down next to the light bulb and remove the checkmark next to Monitor for LiveNews Update.

You can copy MSCONFIG.EXE over from Win98 to Win2K for limited functionality. I prefer to use StartUp Control Panel, which is fully functional, has more features and more flexibility.

wow, great app. i've been editing the registry to keep stuff from starting up.
