Win 2000 shutdown problems

Right click My Computer and select "Manage"
Select "Event Viewer" and check out the Application and System Logs.
If you have any ERROR or WARNING events, this could be your problem.
Write down the source and event ID number and visit Event ID, do a search on your ID number and they will send you in the right direction to hopefully fix your problem.
