Hello,

I mapped some drives with passwords from my other computer in Win 2000, but when I reboot it , I have to enter all passwords again ... is there any way to make win2000 map those drives automatically ?

Thank you.

Do you have different passwords for the two systems? If so try making them the same and it will work as you want.

Sorry, I don't know of another way.

When you map a drive on Win2K it will ask you if you want to reconnect at log in...check yes and then it will ask for a username and password then...

Are the users the same on both computers? Meaning is the person loging in the same that is connecting to the other computer?

Well then make an user in your server that is the same as your workstation(?) and give them the same password.

I changed the password on my workstation user but not on the server user, and now the same thing happens to me. Since I don't reboot often I haven't bothered changing it in the server too.

No , this solution is not good in my situation , because I must have different users .
