I have epox 8k7a+ with new bios 1711
amd 1130ghz@133
256megs ram pc2100
sblive value
d-link network card
dynalink isdn modem
Gainward geforce 3
The problem is that when I want to reboot the machine windows says saving settings and then when it wants to reboot or shut down it locks up in either a have desktop backround color half black screen or just plain black screen,the machine just locks up totally and wont come out of it,I have to reset manually.It doesnt do scandisk when I reset so I think windows is finishing the shutdown but it somehow locks up after that for some unknown reason and doesnt complete the shutdown or reboot????????
I was told buy epox to install the miniport driver and bus master driver followed buy service pack 2 and to get the new bios,but this has not solved my problems
there must be someone out there with the sortive same setup as me ,PLZ help me solve this little issue
