Win 2000 Pro Boot/Startup CD

I deleted boot.ini and ntoskrnl.exe while using system mechanic (powerful utility) and since i do not have a cd-rw or fdd on my notebook i could not create a boot/startup/restore cd. Now when i power on the system ntfs says boot.ini and ntoskrnl.exe not found and 2 copy it but i have no means to get one on cd. ibm declined support since the notebook system was originally configured for win95 and win95 is not supported by ms or ibm anymore

Does the system have a cdrom in it? If it does, can it be told to boot from the cd? We need a little more info to figure out what can be done.
