Win 2000 Install Problems - Won't show correct HD size

I installed Win 2000 Pro cleanly on a maxtor 40 gig 7200 rpm drive. I used the NTFS file system since the FAT32 will only support up to 32 gig. I thought that if I installed using NTFS (setup formatted for me) that the correct HD size would show up. It shows up as 31.8 gigs now. How do I get it to recognize the full HD? Don't mind reinstalling.

ECS K7S5A mobo.

Edit: Jumpers were messed up. Issue resolved.
