Win 2000 Install loopback

While trying to install Win 2000 on an HP 8370 computer that DOES meet or exceed minimum requirements for Win 2K, I get to the end of install, and it then loops back to the beginning of the install program.

How do I break the cycle?

Are you installing from the CD? Try ejecting the CD once the install is complete and it reboots.
