Problem, last night i partitioned my new maxtor 30 gb hard drive. I messed up and put fat 16 on. Then i put windows 2000 on and it changed my system to NTFS. I only have one hard drive and its 2 gb! Is there anyway i can out a new partition on that would recognize my whole 30 gb, and how would i do this? What partion should i use??

Thanks

any partition but FAT 16 will allow all 30 gigs in the same drive. Fat 16 is capped at 2 GB per partition. If you don't want to reinstall, just get partition magic, it will allow you to change partitions and even partition sizes without data lose. If you don't mind reinstalling, just fdisk the drive so there are no partitions then boot from the win2k cd and during the install it'll make partitions of any kind/size that you want.
