Win 2000 emergency boot disks?

How do you make emergency boot floppies in case your Windows 2000 install is messed up? I heard someone mention making five floppy disks, something about EBR.

You probably mean (4) installation/boot disk plus (1) Emergency Repair Disk (ERD).

Like Elledan stated, when you click on the "bootdisk folder on your Win2k CD-ROM" it'll tell you what to do. (insert four floppy disks -one at a time of course) 😛

For the ERD, go to: Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Backup (the third option button)

Remember your boot disks aren't all that helpful unless you backup to your ERD frequently. I keep mine next to the computer. I update after every major change (driver update, new program, etc.). Really.
