win 2000 built in firewall?

Hi. I believe XP SP2 comes with a firewall? DOes Windows 2000 come with any?

Windows 2000 doesn't have one built in. The Windows Firewall made it's debut in XP.

2000 doesn't have a built in firewall, but there's plenty of better free ones you can use.

Windows 2000 does have TCP/IP filtering that could be setup to act as a rudimentary firewall. But I would suggest sticking with a more "normal" client firewall than TCP filtering.
