I upgraded a few weeks ago to win 11 and last week my power supply fried the motherboard and cpu. When I replace it and try to start up win 11 will there be a problem with the new hardware? thank you.

Probably not. I have moved Windows 10 and Windows 11 between various motherboards and between Intel and AMD Chipsets with no issues. It usually even locates and installs the proper drivers when rebooted.

Note that when you replace the motherboard, you will likely have to reactivate. You may need a new key, unless you have an MS account.

I bought a used Asus ROG computer without a harddrive and videocard from a local guy. I didn't know if it originally had Windows 10 or 11. I installed the missing parts and downloaded and installed Windows 11. During the setup I did log on to my Microsoft Account instead of creating a Local Account. The Windows installation never asked for a product key or activation. When I went to my Microsoft Account it listed the Asus ROG computer in there along with my previous computers. I guess it's officially mine.
