lxskllr you linked a crazy, fringe, conspiracy site as your evidence, yet you call JeffMD a "jackass?"

I assume people here know how to internet. I did a search, scrolled up and down while reading a few links, then picked one without paying close attention. It doesn't say anything different from other links.

Here's one you might like better...

or do your own search. It isn't hard ;^)

Why should we search? It's not true, not that you care. The SW Microsoft is talking about are Window Store applications. The HW is Xbox One.

I see you can't be bothered to read the link I gave you. What you said literally has *nothing* to do with my link. I can't force feed you. You need to take responsibility for your own life.

from what I read, most likely this will just mean that if you pirate an xbox live game they will force update it and you won't be able to play.

People have been going around such digital delivery services for years, this won't stop them.

I'm still not sure what they mean by "unauthorised hardware". What's that in reference to?

They are saying that they can't guarantee the operation of hardware they can't get drivers for. In this instance, they may be referring to game controllers, but as it is with these sorts of things, leave it open for future unknowns.

I don't care about your link because it has nothing to do with what you originally posted. As is common with someone who is losing the debate, you're just jumping from one topic to another.

You're posting false information because you're pro-FOSS and anti-proprietary software.

The pirates will figure out a way around it. They always do. As usual, regular end users who don't ever pirate anything are going to be the ones who suffer by having to jump through extra hoops that don't even provide a speed bump for pirates.
