16GB Ram G-Skill

Doing anything other than gaming the system resource usage is fine. Attempting to game after about 4-5 minutes results in very high utilization of disk and ram. I've looked up a few threads, but can't seem to pinpoint what might be causing my issue. Hoping someone here can help me to shed light on the problem.

Games I'm running Tomb Raider - Game of the Year Edition and Skyrim with HD textures using high to ultra settings.

I agree with XavierMace, Skyrim with HD textures and ultra settings will use all of your VRAM and will task your system RAM and storage a good bit. As long as you're getting smooth gameplay I wouldn't be concerned about it.
