WiMax

I've been waiting for years for this to take off. Still years away from widespread acceptance IMO.

The one thing I never read though ... pricing. Does anyone know what pricing is expected to be?

I have to assume that if cable lin es and phone lines don't need to be maintained, there are some major cost saving possbile. But being hte new thing, are we looking at $50/month pricing? I would consider it for $20 just so I could have a "take it anywhere" portable. I don't even want/need bandwidth. Blackbery's would be plenty for me if the unlimited usage prices wern't so darn high.

According to the crew at NetStumbler the costs of WiMax will be up to $200 upon initial release.
