I wonder if you jumped off with a wingsuit if you could skim the water and not get injured.

I went to school with a dude who talked and acted just like this one. Major pot head then, 25 years later, still a major pot head. Dumb as a box of rocks, has been working as an "artist" who makes glass bongs and pipes, doesn't have a pot to piss in. Still a decent person, though. I mean, he isn't a thief or liar, doesn't use people, and wouldn't harm a soul. So I guess that counts for something.

There's a movie called "The Bridge" that discusses real jumpers. It's pretty interesting. I also remember there being something about most people dying before hitting the water due to heart attack. The GG bridge is really high. If you survive you'll probably freeze to death, drown, or get eaten by a shark.

I saw it on YouTube, shows people jumping via an automatic motion tracking camera that was installed. Quite sad.

If he says "like" one more time I am going to reach through the screen and pull his damn tongue out.

On March 10, 2011, 17-year-old Luhe "Otter" Vilagomez from Windsor High School in Windsor, California, survived a jump from the bridge, breaking his coccyx and puncturing one lung, though he said his attempt was for "fun" and not suicide. The teen was helped to shore by Frederic Lecouturier, 55, who was surfing under the bridge when he saw Vilagomez jump. The California Highway Patrol ("CHP") recommended that the San Francisco District Attorney's Office charge the student with misdemeanor trespassing (a charge which entails climbing any rail, cable, suspender rope, tower or superstructure not intended for public use), punishable by up to a year in the county jail and/or a fine up to $10,000. Additionally, the CHP Marin Area recommended the teen undergo a medical/psychiatric evaluation by medical professionals.

I like jumping off of high stuff into water. But I am smart enough to know not to jump off of that.

I've done cliff diving once. Never again. Holy mother of god that hurt. I jumped perfectly except that I didn't point my toes and I came straight down. Then I had to swim back to the boat afterwards in some kind of swim of shame. Ouch. Was only like 60 feet or so too so I can't imagine what a fall from the GG would feel like if you survived.
