Will zone alarm's "safe zone" be ok for my wireless network?

Desktop machine has zone alarm on it, hooked to my router. Laptop has no security software, and I want to be able to share out of the desktop (including printer). I added the ip (192.168.1.101) from my laptop to the safezone under zonealarm. Is that safe? I see that my desktop's networking controller gave not just an IP, but also the 255.255.255.0 for "site" to help security. In this case though all I can give is IP. It seems that if somebody spoofed that IP from the outside they'd have free reign on my desktop. Is that true? Thanks!

So somebody external can't spoof it or something? ;) I suppose if they did then my computer would only send back to 192, so it would never get to their real IP...

thanks!

As long as you have encryption on your WLAN, and are assured that your network has no malicious software floating around it then it would be okay to lower the paranoia setting.
