Will you use the "other genders" washroom if yours is in use?

So say you have to take a leak but the mens/womans washroom is either in use or out of order and although you could make it to another washroom in time it's either out of your way or would take too much time. Will you usually use the other one or would you usually try to find another place? Here are some other conditions. The washrooms are not lockable, that is your privacy is not guaranteed though of course there is a lockable stall in the washroom. The washroom is large enough, serves a large enough establishment, that you can reasonably expect there to be someone else in there or someone may enter while you are there. Are there people who would not use the other genders washroom under any circumstances, even if no one will see you?

if it's a place where the door is lockable or there's little chance of anyone caming in, i would probably use it if i was on the verge of release

yes i have, and i would again. i make sure that it is empty first and then i have a friend stay outside not letting anyone else in while i'm in there. note: i do my business very fast under these circumstances.

So in other words the second poll option?

sure, if it's a single. i don't care if a woman walks in, i just rather not have her be surprised and call the law on me.

I'd go if the lady's room was empty at the time, but if I heard or otherwise noticed someone was already in there I would wait.

I voted never because the options given didn't necessarily fit me. I would, but only in an extreme world-ending #2 situation...the kind that would become public in a critical amount of time moreso than using another gender's washroom.

I had to go once so I went into a KFC to use their restroom. The mens room was occupied so I had to stand to the side, back from the counter but close enough that they acknowledged me. I waited about 2 minutes and one of the employees came out of the back and headed right towards the mens room. As soon as he started turning the handle, the guy that was using it was coming out and I couldn't do anything about it. Needless to say, I headed right for the womens restroom and had no problem going there.

girls tend to really freak out when a guy is in their bathroom, at least in my experience, even though it's like, I'm gay, I'm not interested in anything you have to offer.

so generally speaking, no.

I will occasionally use the female restrooms at my office, though, if it's after prime hours and the office is mostly empty. we don't actually have any females working in my building, so the F bathrooms tend to be substantially cleaner than the men's rooms.

Done it before. Don't really see what the big deal is.

Most resent time was while I was in my Freshman year. People would have parties and if someone drank too much they would always run to the mens room. Well one guy didn't quite make it and vomited all over the entrance to the bathroom covering nearly half the floor and somehow getting it into the stalls and around the toilets. Epic vomit. Only way to get in was to walk through the puddle. This was on a Friday night and the cleaning crews don't come around until Monday so we had to use the womens room/showers till it got cleaned up. No one seemed to care.

Ive done it only in a bar. Heck ive walked in the mens bathroom with chicks in it and i just acted like they werent there. Im not gun shy at all. Though when i was in Europe and went into a co-ed bathroom for the first time, that was a bit of a surprise.

Yeah... and I couldn't care less what people think of it. I'll avoid doing it if it's not a matter of urgency, but it's not like I'm in there for anything but taking a leak like everyone else.

While not directly on the subject of the OP, I tend to gravitate toward the private male/female restroom instead of the gender specific ones when there is one there, as it is a single bathroom more like home ones, and not a multi-stall arrangement in general. It also has a baby change station in there, so I think that is what corporate is thinking about when deciding to put the third restroom in, mister moms needing to change their babies. The reason I go in those is it is more private then the multi-stall rooms in large businesses like walmart... in smaller places with a single stall, I just go into the ladies' room.

If it's a single bathroom, yes. Otherwise, no, because the womenz would call the cops. Back in the dorm days in college, it wasn't rare for women to use the mens bathroom though when all the showers, etc... were taken.

There is nothing illegal about using the restroom marked for the other sex.
