Simple question - will you see the film?

I personally wont - because I find it morally wrong to make money on such a horrid event(if true or not) - these people should be shot

No way, they are trying to cash in on a tragic event. If anything we should all get together and kill the people who funded and created the movie.

No. Not that I go to the movies much anyway. But even if they are going on about how this is a needed reminder to the US public. I don't know a single person who doesn't know exactly where they were when they found out about that. And I don't know of anyone that doesn't remember the days following it either. So I don't see why people need a reminder.

Hell no. Just a fictional depiction of what they want us to believe might have happened. Due to the very little factual information available to us/them, there's NO WAY to really know how this tragedy played out...might as well go see Harry Potter if you want some fiction....probably more truth in that...
PASS...

I find it hard that anyone would actually not condone it publicly. Doing so would be hard pressed on their reputation...

How can everyone say they are trying to cash in on a tragic event? It seems that the prevailing theme almost nationwide is that no one wants to go see the movie because it's too soon. It's a mite bit difficult to cash in on something with a small audience. I'm planning on going to see it, because I really don't see a moral quandry with the issue. The only thing that matters to me is if it's a good movie.

Did you see Titanic?

That made a hell of a lot of money, thanks to the deaths of many people. Who knows, maybe in a hundred years, a huge movie will be made about the Twin Towers. Or maybe Fox will do it in 5 years.

Score! then we can make a movie about us killing the people who made this movie, and it will be ok because we'll be the ones getting filthy stinkin rich.

to be fair i did see their review. they said it wasn't exploitative. there are no name actors. they don't get gushy into the characters back stories and such.

Apparently this movie focuses on the last two survivors pulled from the wreckage.
