Will you now lose interest in P&N?

I know I've posted in this forum recently for discussion about the election. But now that it's over, there doesn't seem to be as much motiviation to post here. Bush has won, it's over. Now this forum is just 3 more years of "your party sucks," until the next election begins.

I thought P&N has always been full of "your party sucks" communications. Or, at least that's how it has been for as long as I've known it. ;)

There will be much news over the coming months and years.

I doubt I'll lose interest in posting up here but, spare time is becoming a luxury. And, with the election over, my motivation for posting so much isn't what it used to be but I'll be around. ;)

I'm tempted to say something snide, like "Good"...but I won't.

aside - now that the election is over, I'll assume that all the tards (from both camps) who felt the need to come in her and stink up the place with trollish behavior will now leave.

I'll still post, I hope Bush gets the boot during this term and American realizes how stupid we are.

I lost interest a while ago, I came back briefly just for the election. I'll be heading out shortly. :)

Exactly. The elction gave us something to talk about. Both sides had a chance of winning, so there was more interest in discussion. Now that Bush won, who cares if Dems don't like it? Why would I want to waste my time hearing about it?

The election is over, and now is the time for serious folks on all sides who truly care about their country
to roll up their sleeves and get to work.

To all you spittle flecked punks who were just here to posture and whoop at the height of the dog and pony show, "Bye bye, and when you're safely back in OT, please forget to write."

For now...yes. I came here about 3 to 4 weeks ago...and become something I didn't necessarily like. I guess I found too much of a passion for a cause and it's haunting me. I have let my job suffer over the last weeks and will now work extra to catch up, and worse, I have also let my family suffer...again :(.

I'm interested in our country and will always love it. I have hopes for changes towards a fiscal conservative government, but I have somewhat doubts as to whether it will ever be achieved (without a Constitutional amendment).

I would actually like to see America prosper again....no matter who is in power.

But it's like NCAA basketball (UK Fan here), it hurts like hell to lose in the tourney....but we're here again...year in and year out.

If I have offended anyone, an apology as that was never my intention.

I'll spend a little time (again) in Hot Deals and stimulate the economy when I get a chance (well, actually, you don't stimulate the economy in Hot Deals as we (they) are always looking for something free! :p)

I've got to sign off for a while....or my family and job will sign off from me!

Play nice (nicer than I have been lately).....and let's move forward. We may not all agree, but we all share the same border.

Robert

Edit:

The election is over, and now is the time for serious folks on all sides who truly care about their country
to roll up their sleeves and get to work.

A quick comment...that will come in time. A few personal issues in life need to be taken care of as I don't want to lose what I've worked so hard to get and keep....my wonderful wife and kids.

With the aftermath of the election there will be an ebb to the 'Politics' side of things.

News, especially the Iraq War, will take center stage in the discussions, with a tilt,to the political correctness of that conflict as we continue to suffer losses.
International relations will also come to the forefront, and there will be some political edge to that as well,
but the shift will be to news as this election sinks in and it's consequences take hold.
The politics will become driven by the events in real time.

Maybe with a little luck we will have a shift from the P&N towards the T&A - worth watchimg.

Wow, I guessed I missed an attitude change since I left these parts. I remember having intelligent conversations with you.

LOL. Get to work? Well, let me break something to you. The ramblings that go on in the P&N forum really have no effect on the country. People in Washington are the ones ready to get to work now that the election is over. What goes on here is insignificant.

I've already lost interest. <yawn>

You all suck. :) j/k

Not really, because politics is an ongoing struggle of ideas, not just one election. If you see only the election as meaningful, then you aren't a committed (as in, has been, is, or will be, committed :) ) political junkie.

There's going to be less political news for a while so yeah I'm going to lose interest.

I hope to be able to come back from time to time to point out that all that bad crap that is happening to America is America's fault. :) Republicans have NO excuses. They control it all. And they get ALL the blame. :)

I'm actually glad. Perhaps now this forum can take a different turn. Instead of discussing and arguing over current events (such as the election), which are transitory, I would rather the focus be turned to the fundamental and underlying theories of politicis.

Probably won't login just as much but as long as Bush is pres, I'm sure the discussion would be lively.

I just started to hate those red states, I think only red necks in the woods can live there.
