I was listening to President Jimmy Carter this morning on CNN IIRC. He just wrote his 17th or so book and it's also the first novel written by a president according to CNN. It's a fictionalization of the Revolutionary War which President Carter is quite an expert on apparently.

He claimed that we are taught very little of the real battles which took place between St. Augistine up to Virginia. He also said that without help from the French we would have lost the Revolutionary War. They finally were able to wrest naval superiority from the British and the deciding battle of the Revolutionary War was fought mainly by French troops under Cornwall's command IIRC.

OT: A buddy of mine was getting gas the other day and a homeless guy kept pestering him for change the entire time. To shut the guy up, he reached into his center console, scooped up a hanful of change, and handed it to the guy and told him to leave. Driving down the road he remembered that he had a couple of viagra that a friend has given him to try out. He had put them in his center console. Yep, sho nuff, the little blue pills were gone.
