Will XP 1800 be okay w/ KG7-Lite

I just bought an Athlon 1.4 a little while ago with a KG7-Lite. I'm building my brother a computer now so I was going to give him my Athlon 1.4 and get me a new chip. I was going to just buy my brother some ECS motherboard that was only like $60, and keep my KG7-Lite since that cost me like $120 at the time.

Anyhow.

Do I need a new motherboard with my XP 1800? Or will my KG7-Lite suffice. If so.. like does that KT266A do that much for me to shell out an extra $60?
 
i think that it will work, but get the XP1700 it is like $70 less than 1800 and only 50mhz slower, but i dont think that you will have any problems, but to make sure you could always check abits web sight.
