Will WRX oem rims fit/go with my 93 camry? POLL Now with Pic

If any of you remember my hubcap thread you would know that I've been driving my 93 Toyota Camry LE sedan around with my black steel disks showing. The only difference is my car is that Champagne color instead of silver. I chose that picture because the hubcaps in that picture almost look like WRX oem rims.

Now, my friend in an 02 WRX is gonna get new rims and he'll give me 4 of his old tires and rims with about 4k miles on it for a hundred bucks.

My car currently has 14inch wheels on it and I think his rims are 17 inches. They're both 5 lug wheels, but will they fit?

One of his are also jacked up when he rammed against a lightpoll (long story, which is also reason he's getting new rims). So, I'll try to find someone who trashed their WRX and buy one rim off of em.

If the total wheel + tire diameter is different (likely) then your speedometer will be off, and your car will look kinda jacked-up unless you lower your suspension.

Just off the top of my head I am guessing the backspacing is different.

I'm not sure on the fitment (the OEM WRX wheels also use a 53mm offset I believe). If it does fit, you also have to watch out for fender clearance - probably won't be a problem on 6.5" wide wheels though. The good news is your speedo will only be off by half a percent or so, assuming your old setup is 195/70-14 and the new is 205/55-16.

So far, it looks like I'll be buying a 4pack of hubcaps from Target. I actually saw a decent non-chromed and riced out set for 17 bucks. In fact, they look almost like the ones in the Camry picture.

And what do you drive, a 2k3 Civic mommy bought you? Screw off cuzz as much as I cuss at it, its my baby and it gives me a comfortable ride with decent mileage and reliability. I liked it when the forums had an average mentality of someone past puberty.

Looks like someone else who didn't even read the damn thread. The only reason I'm getting it is because its a good deal and DOESN'T look ricey you stupid tard. I thought that was the funniest quote I've ever heard. This guy that was replacing an engine (on Hi Rev Tuners...dunno why I was watching it. Uncle Ben's had my attention) in a CRX with some VTEC engine. He said it refering to possably Turbo-ing the previous engine.....

I don't see where the original poster states that he's trying to 'rice' out his Camry with stickers, coffee can exhausts, fake BOV sounds, or what have you.

What's wrong with wanting to plus size one's wheels/tires? You'll lose out on some cushiness because the ride will be a bit stiffer with the shorter sidewalls - but more road feedback will be transmitted to the driver, the car may feel like it handles better, and the driver may have a more 'connected' feeling to the road. It also looks nice to most people because the larger wheel fills more of the wheel well.
