Will Windows show "TB" for single partitions > 1TB?

A friend and I were musing about this the other day. If someone were to have a single partition in Win2k or XP that equaled or exceeded a terabyte, would it show up in properties as 1TB, or would it be 1000GB? Just curious really, I'm not planning on having a TB anytime soon. Thanks!

Don't know.....I'll let you know soon though....we just got in an IBM Shark for testing and it has 4 TB, I think, of storage in it right now.....I'll do some experimenting and let you know...

that'd be sweet to change it in SP4 to say "a hell of a lot of space" instead of TeraByte :D

My next h4x0ring challenge....right now, I'm working on getting to their website....

It does. Windows shows all size values up to 3 significant figures.

oh man...I *just* learned about the right mouse button, and damn is it confusing. I enjoy my [insert negative word here] Macintosh one button mouse, it's so much easier to use...My new lampshade Mac is awesome too....I can turn on the monitor for light, and I use it solely for the light emitted...I seem to be using it to its full potential :D

(hehe, just was on a "need to bash something" moment, and Mac came to mind ;))

Thanks to those who actually answered my question. I guess everyone thought it was stupid, but since I've never had a machine with that much storage I had no idea. Thanks for the responses though!
